I think it was 2 or 3 years ago that I found a mention of a signed limited edition by Dune to be published by Centipede Press. Jerad Walters' press was pretty much unknown to me. When I took to google I quickly stumbled on Marc Simonetti's art. I was sold. For a while I thought Marc's art was gonna be the art for the first book. When I see how the first book turned out with Mark Molnar's art, then I am very excited for the follow-up with Simonetti's.
When something piques my interest I quickly lose myself and go on a deep dive. Didn't take long for me to realize that I did not want to miss out on Dune or any book by Centipede Press. Through a bit of luck I managed to become a Centipede Press subscriber, which meant I secured Dune in the future and did not have to go through a pre-order frenzy. So between all Centipede Press books from that point onwards and Dune, here we are in 2022. This book is all it was hyped up to be. The attention to detail in the slipcase, the covers, the dust jacket, the endpapers, the chapter pages, the art, the typography, the limitation page... I'll let the pictures speak for themselves. I uploaded 127 of them which can be seen in the gallery of Dune's page but I made a selection here.
